Julius has served two apprenticeships in his time. The first being in the automotive industry, where he first demonstrated his high-level drive. Success naturally followed, being named Apprentice of the Year, becoming an industry ambassador, and getting involved with motorsport at a national and international level. Motorsport gave Julius the opportunity to befriend successful businesspeople, inspiring him to change course and start a new apprenticeship.
The second “apprenticeship” was one in business. Beginning with a scholarship in business management, Julius was able to demonstrate aptitude in this area and quickly promoted to workshop manager. Not long after, sales manager was added to his role.
To accelerate learning, he jumped into the ‘deep end’, taking on the role of General Manager in a failed business. The circumstances meant a ground up rebuild and pivot, taking on strategy, marketing, sales, customer experience, product and service development, on top of day-to-day operations and management. The vision and long-term effort transformed the business into a profitable and successful entity. Finalising his commitment to helping the business owners, Julius played an instrumental role in preparing the business for sale. Over 12 months, the business systems and processes were further refined and compiled in a detailed business manual. This gave an in-depth guide on all business operations, increasing the sale price and allowing a new managing director to take over with confidence.
The experience provided a wealth of knowledge, also giving Julius a clear vision that he wanted to help other business owners achieve the level of success and freedom that business owners deserve to have.
Problem solving is the most valuable foundation skill Julius has built on over his life time. His first career path saw this develop technically, with a solution mindset transitioning seamlessly into business. Every company that he’s worked with has seen the benefit of his solutions through implementing or improving processes, even before it was in his job description.
Julius holds a rare balance of traits that will provide immense benefit to your business. He has a creative and curious streak, that perfectly complement his logical side resulting in out-of-the-box thinking and a fresh perspective.
Beyond business, Julius lives in Papakura with his partner Ashleigh. Together they enjoy keeping fit and weekend getaways, often at the beach where Julius can be found surfing.

ASHLEIGH SNELL
Director
From a young age Ashleigh had a keen interest in business. Upon leaving high school, she set her sights set on completing a business degree, but was torn over what to major in – accounting or marketing? Her creative side got the better of her and in 2014, Ashleigh graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Marketing and Management) and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and Media Studies).
Upon graduating Ashleigh secured a job working as an Advertising and Marketing Executive at a Marketing agency and began her career. Fast forward 3 years and a promotion to the role of Campaign Manager, Ashleigh has fostered strong relationships with clients and strives to exceed their expectations. Ashleigh’s goal-oriented approach and commitment to ensure she delivers the best results for her clients has allowed her to flourish in this position.
Ashleigh is a community leader, previously volunteering as a junior netball coach and referee as well as working with her local school on camps. Currently she is the Chairman of the McLennan Residents Society.
In her spare time, Ashleigh lives in Papakura with her partner Julius. She enjoys checking out a local café, going for a bush walk and sinking her teeth into a good book.
